Health Care Reimbursement Consultant....Location: Metairie...Job duties
include preparing Medicare/Medicaid cost reports, uncompensated care
calculations, and interim cost reports models as well as reviewing bad
debts to aid our clients in obtaining appropriate reimbursements.
Performs special reimbursement projects as assigned.
Requires a Bachelor degree in accounting; CPA preferred. Minimum of 2-3
years healthcare reimbursement experience. Highly proficient in
Microsoft operating systems i.e. Word, Excel. Knowledge of cost
reporting software preferred.
